I can do all things through him who strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13

Hands of Mercy Everywhere, Inc (H.O.M.E.) is a multidisciplinary facility that houses all services required by teen moms and their babies and includes a community of supporters that help provide the resources needed to parent their child successfully. We encourage the girls in their physical, mental, and spiritual development as we prepare them for responsible parenthood.

H.O.M.E. has an all-encompassing program to address the needs of teen girls, teen mothers, and their children. H.O.M.E works in partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), Community Based Care (CBC) Agencies throughout Florida, and our local community to make this all possible.

The Beginning

When you first enter H.O.M.E. you will receive a tour of the facilities to help you get acquainted with your new home, and then you will be given a chance to see your beautifully decorated room that you and your child will call home.

Upon getting settled at H.O.M.E., an inventory checklist will be noted based on what you brought with you. Important to know, you are only allowed one suitcase per person. Any unfinished portions of the application will be required to be completed. All girls are permitted to have a cell phone after finishing an internet safety class. H.O.M.E. has an allowance structure whereby each client can earn up to $100.00 a month.

Soon after, you will meet your big sister who guides you through orientation and helps you become familiar with rules, daily routines, and upcoming fun activities. Shortly thereafter, you are taken on a visit to your new school and daycare for your child. You will work with a staff member to set up appointments for doctors, dentist and optometrist visits for your upcoming health care needs.

Clients should bring a State of Florida Identification (ID) card or their original birth certificate, their original Social Security (SS) card and know their Medicaid number. Medical care cannot be provided, nor can a driver’s permit be administered, without a SS card.
